Ibanda-Kyerwa National Park

The Ibanda-KyerwaPark, which opened in 2019, is a new park in Tanzania’s Kagera area. This is the park where the borders of Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda converge, and it is a must-see on your Tanzania Safari Tours. 

The park is full with wildlife attractions, and dawn and sunset may be seen from anywhere in the area. The KageraRiver is the park’s principal supply of water and nourishes its diverse resources.

How to get to Ibanda-Kyerwa National Park

The IbandaKyerwa Park is a former wildlife reserve located on the eastern bank of the Kagera River, which serves as a natural border between Tanzania and Rwanda. The park’s mesmerizing splendor will enhance and complete your Tanzania Safari Tours.

Various buses go to Bukoba town in Kagera region, from where the IbandaKyerwa Park may be reached by road. A steamboat ride to Bukoba town in the Kagera region is also an option. If flying, flights from Dar es Salaam to Mwanza City are available.

But they can opt to stay outside the park in the nearby towns. The national park is about 3 and a half kilometers from the nearest town of Murongo which acts as the park boundary.
