Visit Amboni Caves : The Amboni Caves lie north of Tanga, on the north coast of Tanzania. This remarkable natural wonder exists of an extensive cave system dating back some 150 million years. The whole system is estimated to be 234 square kilometres in size, with stunning rock formations and ancient stalactites and stalagmites. Some caves are said to stretch for over a hundred kilometres! Day 1# Dar es Salaam to Tanga
Hotel pick up (at the hotel you stay in Dar es Salaam) Approximate arrival time in Tanga is 14:00
At the beginning of our journey we will go through the shops for food on the road like water, soda, biscuit . Now we will be ready to head to Tanga in the city along the way you will be able to see animals like monkeys on the wami bridge and we will also pass through the villages and see their daily life. We’ll go to the city in the evening and we’ll go to the hotel.
Day 2# Tanga – Amboni
will see caves which is found 150million, years ago and its under water for 20million years ago and if were to lucky will see black and white monkey. On the way we will pass a local small town and see the salt farm and small water Bush. After that we will head to museums at Tanga town. Learning Tanga history, how people live and where they are coming from. Then will go to fishing market after that and enjoy the ocean view and see different sea animals.
Day 3# Tanga to Dar es Salaam
Hotel drop off (at the hotel you booked in Dar es Salaam) approximately arrival at 15:00
We will begin our journey back to the city of Dar es Salaam. We will go through the shops for a little food like a biscuit, water, soda and what you would like to buy. Our car ride will last at least six hours. I will take you to the hotel where I took it and it will be a goodbye journey. Dinner on Day 3 is included in the tour price.
