Description
2 Day Serengeti Tour from Mwanza City : The focus of most safaris in northern Tanzania, Serengeti National Park is renowned as the arena for the world’s greatest mammal migration. Even away from this iconic wildlife spectacle, the Serengeti’s sheer density of animals makes for incredible wildlife viewing throughout the year. The southern plains near Seronera are the most popular, but it’s also worth exploring the Western Corridor and Mara River regions.
You’ll explore a savannah landscape of crocodile-filled rivers, grassy plains, and trees. You’ll watch for wildlife on full-day game drives, and have a picnic in the park, on a guided trip that includes hotel transfer, breakfast, lunch, and park fees. You will stay in a luxury tented camp in Central Serengeti.
Day 1: Mwanza to Serengeti National Park
At 6:00 am: Your full-day Serengeti day tour departs Mwanza early in the morning with a breakfast box and lunch/ picnic box. You will drive to Serengeti/ Ndabaka gate. At 8:00 am: You’ll arrive at Serengeti National Park Ndabaka Gate. You’ll enjoy your breakfast picnic box at the gate followed by check-in at the park and after registration, proceed on a game drive. You’ll drive along the Grumeti River. You’ll watch for the pods of hippos that ‘yawn’ at the surface of the river and huge crocodiles and look for signs of large cats and predators.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Osinon Tented Camp.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park Back to Mwanza
Early in the morning after breakfast, you’ll enjoy a game drive and wildlife viewing in Serengeti National Park where you expect to see lots of animals.
