It is located in Kigamboni, often requiring a ferry crossing from downtown Dar es Salaam, followed by a drive on a potentially rough road. Hiring a taxi or using a bajaji is recommended.

Fantastic place for a day outing with family in Dar. Roads are excellent. Baboons don’t eat biscuit. Instead feed them papaya and chips. Also one botanical garden there as well as museum inside. however, no zebra, giraffe, peacock or rabbits.
