Robanda has its very own purpose-built wildlife photographic hide located next to a permanently-fed water hole.
Attracting animals from the surrounding corridor, this waterhole sates the insatiable thirst the resident animals of the corridor.
This hide is a haven for those guests wishing to get ‘up close and personal’ with the wildlife. Watch in awe at the magnificence of the natural world as – for a brief moment – their differences are put aside in order to quench their need for the life-giving H2O.
Exclusive Vehicle & Guide
You can book an exclusive use vehicle and guide for the day. Subject to availability and needs to be pre-booked by reservations to be guaranteed.
Guests can chose between returning to the Lodge for lunch or a specially-prepared picnic hamper to be enjoyed at a designated picnic site.
Rhino Tracking Safari
Book an exclusive rhino-tracking excursion you will be accompanied by a park ranger, and the activity takes place in the nearby Moru Kopjes area.
This is a half day activity – with return transfers to the protected rhino area taking two hours and rhino tracking approximately two hours (by car). Picnic lunch also provided.
Guided Bush Walk
Truly an impressive experience: guests will walk in the company of an experienced guide and a Park Ranger to learn about tracking wildlife, and other secrets of the bush.
Serengeti Centre & Guide
Our resident Serengeti expert will offer a journey through time from early man and the formation of the Serengeti to the great migration as we know it today. This includes a visit to the Serengeti Cultural Centre.
